Manchester United's on-loan midfielder Anderson has revealed that he is keen on extending his loan deal with Fiorentina.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • The Brazilian international, who joined the Serie A outfit on a six-month loan deal from the Premier League champions during the recently concluded transfer window, insisted that he wants to stay in Italy beyond the summer.

"I have to play and have my chance," the 25-year-old said. "It is better for me at Fiorentina. The manager wants me and has shown his trust. I can show him my football.

"Even though the contract is only on loan, I want to stay for a long time."

Anderson made his Serie A debut for Fiorentina in the 1-0 defeat at Cagliari last weekend.
