11 February 2014 - 19:55

Bayern Munich’s Peruvian forward has come out and said that he has no plans to retire at the end of the season.

  • Arsenal to battle Napoli to sign Alexsandro Ribeiro?

  • The 35 year old is out of contract in the summer and there have been no contract talks. The striker has been limited to substitute appearances at the Allianz Arena this season having had 10 outings and scoring three goals.

But the former Chelsea man has ruled out retirement at the end of the season,

“I just enjoy playing football. I still have a few years. I will only stop when my body tells me: ‘That’s it’ or when I can no longer stand the pace.” He told Kicker.

Pizzaro has scored 168 goals in Bundesliga which is a record for a non-German.
