Mourinho wants Khedira at Chelsea

Jose Mourinho wants to sign German midfielder Sami Khedira for Chelsea from Real Madrid. The midfielder played for the Portuguese whilst he was in charge at Santiago Bernabeu.

Tutto Mercato claim that Mourinho tried to sign the former Stuttgart midfielder last summer too but the move failed to materialize.



Although the 26 year old is currently out with a long term injury it is believed that once he makes full recovery the London club will tempt him again with a move. It remains to be seen whether Los Blancos let him go.



Since moving to Spain in 2010 after the World cup in South Africa, Khedira has made 89 league appearances for the club scoring six goals in the process.
