Former west Ham defender joins Rayo Vallecano

Former west Ham United defender Razvan Rat has joined Spanish outfit Rayo Vallecano till the end of the season. He made 20 appearances for the East London club in his six moths at the club.

The 32 year old only joined Hammers last summer but was released last month after struggling in the Premier League. Rayo are currently struggling in La Liga and are currently second bottom in the table.



Rat could make his La Liga debut next weekend against Spanish Champions Barcelona.



The Romanian had joined West Ham after spending 10 very successful years at Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk
