PSG join chase for David Luiz

French champions Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Barcelona in the race to secure the services of Chelsea centre-back David Luiz in the summer.

The Brazilian international defender has been associated with a switch away from the West London club at the end of the season, with recent reports claiming that the player is at the top of Barca's transfer shortlist.



According to TalkSPORT, Les Parisiens will allow veteran defender Alex leave the club in the summer, and are keen to replace him with Luiz.



Luis joined the Blues from Primeira Liga outfit Benfica in January 2011.
