Manchester United's star striker Robin Van Persie could be set to leave Old Trafford in the summer, according to latest reports.

The Dutch international has been linked with a summer exit from the Red Devils, as manager David Moyes is speculated to be keen on bringing Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani as a replacement.



Moyes is understood to be preparing for a major reshuffle of the squad at the end of the season, and the former Arsenal man looks to be one of the stars heading for an exit, following his unhappiness over the Scot's tactical measures.



This means that the 30-year-old could make a sensational return to Arsenal in the summer, with his opportunities at Old Trafford likely to be cut down with the arrival of a world-class forward of a higher pedigree.



Manchester United are expected to make a summer bid of around £53m for Cavani.
