Gladbach defender signs contract extension

Borussia Monchengladbach defender Tony Jantschke has signed has today signed a new long term deal with the club. The new contract will keep the 23 year old at Borussia Park till the summer of 2018.

  • The right back has been one of the best players for the club this season and has started all but one league game for the club.



    This is what sporting director Max Eberl had to say,



    “Tony is an integral part and a mainstay of our squad, both as a player and a person.”



    “He’s been at Borussia for close to nine years now and has made the leap from youthprospect to the senior squad, emerging as a first-team regular in the process. We’re delighted to be able tie him down to a long-term extension.”



    The defender has made 120 appearances for the Foals scoring three times.
