Manchester United are reportedly monitoring the progress of Southampton youngster Harrison Reed, with a view to summer move for the player, according to The Daily Mirror.
The reports claims that the 19-year-old has caught the eye of manager David Moyes through his impressive performances for the Saints in both the FA Cup and Capital One Cup this season.
Adding to this, Reed is believed to have the potential to become a major star figure in the midfield setup in the future and this may tempt the Red Devils in making a move to land his signature sooner rather than later.
United are currently placed 7th in the League standings, 11 points adrift of fourth placed Liverpool.
