Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has dropped his biggest hint yet that England international right back Glen Johnson will receive a fresh contract. Johnson has just one more season remaining on his current deal. With the likes of Arsenal and several foreign teams all monitoring Johnson's contract situation very closely, the Anfield giants are already poised to offer the 29-year-old a brand new contract. The defensive stalwart had suggested that he might head to a team further south so that he could be closer to his family, but now manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed the defender has a chance to stay at Anfield Road.
