With the likes of Arsenal and several foreign teams all monitoring Johnson's contract situation very closely, the Anfield giants are already poised to offer the 29-year-old a brand new contract. The defensive stalwart had suggested that he might head to a team further south so that he could be closer to his family, but now manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed the defender has a chance to stay at Anfield Road.
