Real Madrid's French centre-back Raphael Varane has dismissed claims linking him with a summer switch to Chelsea.
According to French newspaper Le 10 Sport, the Blues manager Jose Mourinho was understood to be keen on signing the 20-year-old as a long-term replacement for club captain John Terry, but Varane has refute the claims by insisting that he is happy with his life at Los Blancos.
"At 18 I was ready to play in Madrid," said Varane. "It took a year, to get used to the pace and get used to the club. Last season, everything was fine. Now it's even better. It's great to be considered part of the future of Real and France."
Varane joined Real Madrid from Lens in the summer of 2011.
