Swansea City manager Garry Monk has confirmed that no bids have been received for Spanish forward Michu. Two Russian teams and a Turkish side have been linked with a transfer for the striker.

  • With the Russian transfer window yet to close, Michu has been linked with a sensational move to Anzhi and Spartak Moscow. However, the striker could end up staying in Wales after Garry Monk confirmed no offers have been tabled.

"Michu is the type of player who will attract interest and he is a good player,. He needs to get himself fit and that’s got to be his first priority," said Monk.

"We’re not a selling club and players who have been sold, it has been for the right price. We’ve had no offers and Michu should concentrate on getting back on that pitch for us. He’s a big part of our plans going forward."
