Ajax right back Ricardo van Rhijn has come out and said that he would like to stay on at Ajax for a long time.
Both the club and the player have been in discussion about a contract extension and the player wants to stay on the Amsterdam Arena.
This is what the 22 year old told Football Primeur,
"I hope I can stay a long time here, there’s been a number of discussions and that is still working. But it is a busy period; I do not want to be too concerned with it,"
Now I try to play as much as possible then there’s the contract also ", as a young boy, I am very happy that Ajax pronounces something. It also gives me confidence again."
The Dutch international has been linked with Premier league duo of Chelsea and Everton; however this will come as a big boost to the capital club.
