Man Utd eye move for Fiorentina defender

28 February 2014 - 11:54

Manchester United are apparently linked with a potential transfer for former Manchester City defender Stefan Savic.

  • Chelsea asked for Max Dowman during Noni Madueke talks
  • Arsenal ready to pay £40m to sign Chelsea star Noni Madueke

  • Savic joined Fiorentina from Manchester City as part of a deal which saw Serbian youngster Matija Nastasic moving the other way.

According to Tuttosport, the Red Devils manager David Moyes is keen on signing the talented centre-back as a replacement for outbound captain Nemanja Vidic in the summer.

Adding to this, the report also claims that the Scottish manager is ready to have a reshuffle of the first-team for the next season, with a number of star players likely to head through the exit door.

Savic won the Premier League title in 2012 with the Citizens.
