Manchester United are tracking the performances of Freiburg defender Matthias Ginter, with a view to a summer move for his services.
According to The Daily Mail, Red Devils manager David Moyes watched the talented German star in action against Hertha Berlin and is keen on signing him up in the summer for a fee of around £7.2 million.
However, the Manchester giants would have to face stiff competition from the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund for his signature.
Ginter looks set to move at the end of the season, with Freiburg set to have a tough task of staying in the Bundesliga beyond the current campaign.
