Inter Milan are amongst the teams readying a bid for Nigerian international midfielder John Obi Mikel. The player has slipped down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

With the impressive form of Ramires and the recent arrival of Nemanja Matic from Benfica, Chelsea have so far left Obi Mikel on the sidelines as they mount a push for the Premier League title.

The Blues have told the Nigerian that he is free to leave Chelsea and Inter Milan are amongst the teams interested in the player, having made a reported 10 million Euro bid for the holding midfielder.
