Arsenal are understood to be keen on securing the services of Southampton right-back Calum Chambers as a potential replacement for outbound star Bacary Sagna in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger looks set t fail in his pursuit to convinve French international Sagna in signing a new deal, and the Daily Mail claims that the North London club will make a move for Chambers, as he could provide stiff competition to back-up defender Carl Jenkinson for the right-back role.
Chambers has been in good form for the Saints this season and is in line to become one of the stars in the future, having already made 17 appearances in the Premier League at the South Coast.
Southampton could sell allow the sale of the 19-year-old for a fee of around £10m.
