The report claims that manager David Moyes is set to have a big transfer kitty of around £150million to strengthen the club's fragile looking midfield setup and could sign the talented Chilean international for a fee of £42m at the end of the season.

 

However, the Red Devils will have to battle the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid, who have been having a keen eye on the midfield star over the past few months.

 

It is understood that Vidal would favour a switch to Barcelona, having decided to stall on a transfer to the Catalan giants last summer.
