Russian side Zenit St Petersburg are to appoint former Tottenham and Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas as their new manager on Monday afternoon. The Portuguese boss has been out of work for over 4 months since his sacking by Spurs.
Villas-Boas was reportedly keen to make a rapid return to management but having struggled in two separate spells in the Premier League with Chelsea and Tottenham, has decided that he will try his luck in a different league.
The former Porto coach is expected to sign a four year contract in Russia worth a massive 100,000 Euros per week.
