Besiktas prepare bid for Younes Kaboul

23 March 2014 - 11:22

Turkish outfit Besiktas are reportedly readying a summer bid for Tottenham Hotspur defender Younes Kaboul, according to The Mirror.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • Kaboul has failed to cement his place in the Spurs' lineup over the past few years due to injuries, and has been restricted to just 7 Premier League appearances since the 2012/2013 campaign.

The Mirror claims that Kaboul's future beyond the current season is in doubt, as a contract extension would depend on who takes over the managerial hotseat at the North London club.

Adding to that, Besiktas are interested in the former Portsmouth man, and will offer him a switch to the Super Lig, having failed in their pursuit of Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic who opted to join Inter Milan.
