Kieron Dyer is set for a transfer to West Ham from Newcastle. Sam Allardyce has told Dyer that he is free to leave the club and Curbishley is keen to add Dyer to his squad. A figure in the region of £6m has been agreed with Newcastle and Dyer is now ready to discuss personal terms.
Should Dyer sign he will be linking up with his ex-Newcastle colleagues Scott Parker, Craig Bellamy and Lee Bowyer. West Ham's new look midfield for the season will include Dyer, Parker and Ljungberg.
