Arsenal are apparently interested in landing the signature of French international Maxime Gonalons from Lyon in the summer.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for the talented midfielder over the past few seasons.

 

Gonalons has been in top form for the former French champions and has played a major part in the club's rise to fifth in the Ligue 1 table following a dismal start to the campaign.

 

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger looks to be keen on spending big sums on a top-class midfielder in the summer, and is likely to make a move for the 25-year-old, who has also attracted interest from league rivals Manchester United and Italian giants Napoli in recent weeks.
