Torino forward Ciro Immobile has been suggested as a long term replacement for Robert Lewandowski at Borussia Dortmund. The Italian striker has been a revelation in Serie A this season and has caught the eye of Jurgen Klopp at the German side.
The 24-year-old moved to Torino from Genoa in 2013 and has scored 18 goals in 28 games since making a move to the Serie A rivals. Immobile also recently enjoyed his first call up to Italy's full national team and made his debut.
“There is a contact with Dortmund, yes, but so far no official offer,” said Immobile's agent Marco Sommella.
“Ciro has been observed by BVB for a while, and of course he would like to go to such a great club.”
