Napoli are apparently looking at the possibility of activating a buy-out clause in Pepe Reina's contract.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A giants are keen on signing the talented Spanish international on a permanent deal at the end of the season and are prepared to make use of a £5.2m clause in the player's contract, which would allow them to offer the Reds shot-stopper with a three-year deal.
Â
Reina has been fine form for the Naples outfit and manager Rafael Benitez considers the player worth enough to remain at the club beyond the current campaign.
Â
Napoli are currently third in the Serie A with 68 points.
