Man Utd star could leave on cut-price deal

Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa could be set for a return to former club Borussia Dortmund this summer on a cut-price deal, according to a report.

Kagawa, who joined the Red Devils from BVB in the summer of 2012 for a fee of around £18m, has failed to live up to his expectations and hence been limited to just 36 league appearances until now.

 

According to Tutto Mercato, the Japanese international could rejoin the Bundesliga giants at the end of the season on a cut-price deal of around £12m – £6m less than what United paid for the playmaker.

 

United are currently seventh in the Premier League.
