Arsenal to move for Man Utd misfit?

06 May 2014 - 06:01

Arsenal are apparently set to renew their interest in unsettled Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, according to a report.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao

  • The Belgian international only joined the Red Devils from Everton last summer, following the appointment of David Moyes at the club's new manager.

However, he failed to replicate his form at the Mancunian giants, and played as a shadow of himself. Following the dismissal of Moyes, Fellaini recently revealed to the media about his sadness at seeing the Scotsman, with whom he had worked for many seasons leave the club.

Football Direct News claims that the Gunners could well offer an escape route to the talented midfielder, who is deemed to be a flop at Old Trafford. Adding to this, the 26-year-old would be open to playing Champions League football at the Emirates, should the chance come by.

Fellaini has yet to score in 20 appearances for the Red Devils this season.
