Tottenham Hotspur want Roberto Martinez as next boss

06 May 2014 - 07:55

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly targeted Roberto Martinez as the perfect option to replace Tim Sherwood as manager at the club next season.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  •

The Toffees look set to place in the Europa league alongside Spurs next season, following their failure to hold their nerve during the final few games of the Premier League campaign.

According to The Mirror, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is ready to offer the club's managerial post to Martinez, with the promise of offering a sufficient transfer budget to spend on players this summer.

Martinez would surely have a think about on the offer, as the Toffees mostly run on a tight financial system, with loan players being their main scope of additions to the squad.
