Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly rejected an offer from Manchester United, according to Spanish newspaper El Confidencial.
The Red Devils are in the search for a new manager following the dismissal of David Moyes earlier this month. Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal is close to sealing the job at the Mancunian giants, but it is believed that Ancelotti was their first choice.
El Confidencial claims that Los Blancos boss has rejected a move that would have seen him become the highest-paid manager in the world, with an annual salary worth £15m-a-season in the offering.
The former Chelsea boss has turned down the reigning Premier League champions, citing his happiness with life at the Capital club.
