Newcastle to bid for Leroy Fer?

11 May 2014 - 12:45

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew wants to sign Dutch midfielder Leroy Fer from Norwich City. The creative midfielder has told his agent that he wants to leave the relegated Norfolk side.

  • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
  • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move
  • Norwich City have already announced that they hope to keep their best players for next season in the Championship, but Leroy Fer has other ideas and is apparently seeking a move to an alternative team. Fer, who has appeared for the Dutch national team, has already been monitored by Newcastle in the past and Alan Pardew wants the Canaries midfielder to join the Toon Army as a replacement for Yohan Cabaye, who joined Paris St Germain in the last transfer window. The player joined Norwich last summer in a deal worth 9 million Euros.
