Frank Lampard to sign new Chelsea deal

Long serving Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is set to sign a brand new contract at Stamford Bridge. The England international had been expected to quit Jose Mourinho's side this summer.

Lampard is currently looking forward to representing England in Brazil for the World Cup.

"Frank is feeling very positive about the whole thing," said Frank Lampard's PA. "He fully expects his Chelsea future to be resolved at some point next week before he flies off to Brazil. "He is not looking at any other option other than spending next season at Stamford Bridge."
