Arsenal are reportedly inching closer to the signature of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, according to a report.
The Daily Star claims that French international Karim Benzema could be heading to the Emirates after manager Arsene Wenger, whilst commentating on the Champions League Final revealed that the Los Blancos forward 'Could play his last game for Real Madrid today'.
In addition to this, the report claims that the Gunners boss was 'Sure [Benzema] will play in the Premier League one day'. This could be the ideal indication that Arsenal are well and truly interested in landing the services of their long-term target.
Benzema notched up 24 goals for Madrid in all competitions last season.
