Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino is set to open talks with Tottenham regarding a move to become their new manager ahead of next season. The Argentine is growing increasingly frustrated with the Saints' lack of direction in the upcoming transfer window.

Pochettino is in advanced talks with Spurs and will become Tim Sherwood's permanent replacement.

Southampton are apparently ready to sell their two star players this summer, Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw, leaving club manager Pochettino concerned about his club's future in the Premier League.

Pochettino will sign a three year contract at White Hart Lane.
