QPR to hijack West Ham's move for Lescott

Queens Park Rangers' manager Harry Redknapp will try to hijack West Ham's move to sign free agent defender Joleon Lescott. The England international centre back has also been linked with a move to Turkish side Besiktas.

  • According to a report from the Daily Mirror on Saturday morning, Lescott is wanted by several teams but QPR are leading the race to sign the former Man City defender.

    Lescott could earn as much as £100,000 a week on a new contract for up to two seasons.
