Chelsea are reportedly preparing a summer offer for Pachuca youngster Jurgen Damm, according to Medio Tiempo.
Pachuca's vice president Andres Fassi has admitted that the Blues are expected to open up talks with the club over the talented player later this week.
"Chelsea are the club interested, but we have to see how much they are interested, we can't go ahead of ourselves, we have to wait and see," He said.
"There is a belief they arrive in Mexico on Thursday to talk with us."
It is understood that the 21-year-old would have no work permit issues thanks to his dual Mexican-German nationality.
