Joachim Low worried by Marco Reus' fitness

07 June 2014 - 00:00

Germany manager Joachim Low has admitted that he is unsure as to how severe the injury suffered by Marco Reus really is.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • The Borussia Dortmund ace went off limping during Germany's excellent 6-1 win over Armenia on Friday night.

Low, now fears over the fitness of the 25-year-old, with the World Cup poised to commence on June 12.

"I do not know how bad it is," the 54-year-old said. "He is being examined as we speak in hospital and we will wait and see what comes out of it."

"A lot goes through your head at that moment and you just hope it is not too bad but then you see it swell up a bit. I hope the ligaments hold up."

"Until 24 hours before the first World Cup game, according to the rules, we can nominate someone else."

Germany play their opening fixture against Portugal on June 16.
