Croatian manager Niko Kovac has confirmed that midfielder Luka Modric will be back in action for the country's next game. Modric was flown to hospital after the 3-1 defeat to Brazil for scans.
There were major concerns that Modric had sustained ligament damage in his knee, but it appears that after an MRI concern, the Croatian star player will be able to continue his tournament.
"God forbid that the injury is serious," said Croatia's manager Niko Kovac.
