Liverpool have reportedly contacted German club Hoffenheim regarding the availability of midfielder Roberto Firmino. The Anfield side have already completed a deal for Emre Can, who arrived from Bayer Leverkusen two weeks ago.
Firmino, who is very highly rated in Germany, has a price tag of 9 million Euros and Liverpool have reportedly sent chief executive Ian Ayre to Germany to thrash out talks and agree a transfer fee with Firmino's club, Hoffenheim.
The attacking midfielder has spent over three years with Hoffenheim, playing more than 100 games, and is one of the German club's most popular players.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been particularly busy so far in the transfer window as he prepares his squad for a second challenge on the Premier League title next season.
