Nigel De Jong has told AC Milan fans that he wants to stay at the Rossoneri, despite talks of a move back to the Premier League.
Arsenal and Liverpool are amongst the teams who have been linked with the Dutchman but the player wants to stay at his current club.
"I'm happy in Milan and I have no problems staying next season, even if the coach has changed," said the 29-year-old. "Since this is not the right time to talk about club matters, but only about the World Cup, all I can do is give assurances that I have not asked to leave Milan and that I feel perfectly fine there.
"Now, let me concentrate on the destiny of our country and absolutely not on transfer speculation. "
