Alan Shearer, one of England's most famous international players, offered his backing to under fire Roy Hodgson today.
The former Newcastle and Blackburn striker, currently reporting for BBC sport, told the TV channel: "I would give Roy the chance to take England to the 2016 European Championship.
"He should get the opportunity to finish what he has started."
