Tottenham Hotspur plot move for Memphis Depay

21 June 2014 - 00:04

Tottenham Hotspur are understood to be interested in signing up PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay during the upcoming transfer window.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game

  • The Netherlands international had a great season with the Eredivisie outfit last season, and scored the winner in his country's 3-2 win over Australia at the World Cup finals in Brazil.

According to The Express, Spurs have been tracking the talented youngster over the past few weeks, and are readying a summer bid of around £17m for his services.

However, it is believed that Depay would favour a switch to Manchester United, with his current national team boss Louis van Gaal set to take over the reigns at the Mancunian giants after the World Cup.
