Fiorentina hopeful of keeping Juan Cuadrado

Fiorentina will not sell Cuadrado

Fiorentina hopeful of keeping Juan Cuadrado

21 June 2014 - 03:02

Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle has revealed that the club are hopeful of keeping Colombian international Juan Cuadrado at the club beyond the upcoming transfer window.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Spurs, Gilchrist starts
  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs

  • The talented winger had been in top form for the Serie A outfit last season, as he amassed an impressive tally of 15 goals for the club.

Cuadrado has been linked with a switch to Barcelona over the past few days, having starred for his country at the World Cup finals in Brazil, but Della Valle is confident that the club can resist offers from top clubs for the 26-year-old.

"I had promised him, we have signed him outright, it is a great sign that the club wanted to give to everyone," He said."And now we will do the impossible to ensure that he stays with us. Will we have to fight with the big clubs on the market? We are familiar with this, if there is a fight, we will do so."
