Tottenham Hotspur have made a formal bid of around £8m to secure the services of Swansea defender Ben Davies during the upcoming transfer window.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be keen on strengthening his defensive setup for the next season, and wants Ben Davies to provide sufficient competition to Danny Rose for the left-back spot.
According to The Mirror, the North London oufit have approached the Swans with the offer, but the Welsh outfit are yet to respond to the proposal.
Davies was a regular for the Swans last season, as he displaced Neil Taylor for the left-back role. The 21-year-old made 33 league appearances for the club last season.
