Spanish footballer Michu's future at Swansea City remains uncertain, after club chairman Huw Jenkins confirmed that manager Garry Monk will open talks with the striker.
Numerous teams have shown some interest in the Spaniard over the past two seasons, but a deal has yet to have been agreed.
With the arrival of Bafetimbi Gomis at the Liberty Stadium, there are fresh doubts over the long term future of the striker.
"If the reports are right, there seems to be a lot of interest in Michu," Jenkins said.
"From the club's point of view, I can tell you that we have not received any enquiries about Michu.
"The only thing I would say is that I am sure Garry (Monk) will meet with Michu and discuss things with him when he reports back."
