Adam Lallana wraps up Liverpool transfer

Southampton have agreed a fee with Liverpool for England international winger Adam Lallana and the player has successfully undergone a medical at Anfield today. The player has signed a five year contract with the Premier League side.

Liverpool had been pursuing Lallana for over six months and have finally won the race for his signature, despite interest from the likes of Man Utd and Tottenham.

Southampton will be gutted to have lost one of their longest serving players, particularly after his impressive season in the last campaign, but Lallana has long hinted that he would eventually quit the Saints for another Premier League side.
