Sevilla sporting director Monchi had confirmed to the press yesterday that his club will spend the money received from the sale of Ivan Rakitic to Barcelona to find a new midfielder.
"We're following good players: Mathieu Valbuena, Xherdan Shaqiri, Dusan Tadic, Carlos Carmona, Marcelo Brozovic, Benjamin Stambouli."
"But we work with discretion because a lack of discretion can be harmful," said the club Sporting Director. Sevilla are expected to wrap up a deal for Mathieu Valbuena this week.
