Pepe Reina to return to Liverpool?

The agent of Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina has told reporters that his client will be playing as a Liverpool player next season. Reina will battle with current first choice Simon Mignolet for the number 1 jersey.

Reina's agent has so far refused to rule out a move away, with the player spending last season on loan at Napoli and having been linked with a permanent deal to the Serie A side.

However, the news today is that Reina could stay at Liverpool.

"I am aware of the many swirling rumours about Reina's future. I can confirm that Pepe will be playing for Liverpool next season," Manuel Garcia Quilion said of Reina's future.
