Chelsea have reportedly join the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United in the race for the services of Bayer Munich midfielder Toni Kroos this summer.

The German international has been the subject of transfer speculation over the past month with Manchester United keen on landing his services. However, the arrival of Louis van Gaal at the Red Devils cooled down the interest on the player.

Real Madrid are believed to be closing in on an agreement with Bayern over the potential transfer of the 24-year-old, but the Star claims that Chelsea are planning to launch a late transfer offer to land his services.

Kroos has just one year left in his current deal with the Bundesliga champions.
