Sporting Lisbon president Bruno De Carvalho has told reporters that no bids have been made for star asset William Carvalho. The Portuguese defensive midfielder has been linked with Manchester United.
Despite talk of a move away from Portugal and the reported interest of numerous teams, Carvalho could end up staying in Lisbon.
"I haven't received any formal or informal proposals for any of our players," said the club's president.
William Carvalho failed to play a regular part of Portugal's starting line up at the World Cup in Brazil.
