Buffon doubts Juve challenge

Gianluigi Buffon has doubted Juventus' chances of winning the Scudetto. After Juventus won Serie B last year, several are tipping them to go close in Serie A - however Buffon feels his side's ambitions lie elsewhere.

"It is not for us," he said. "But just to earn the respect and esteem of our opponents is a success for a newly promoted team."



Speaking to Sky Sport he also refuted allegations that Juve are a negative team that concentrates firstly on not losing matches.



"We have earnt respect and we've not played badly. We're a Juventus that takes risks to get big results, we've got the right attitude," he insisted.
