Anel Hadzic is a surprise target for Newcastle United. Alan Pardew is reportedly keeping tabs on the Bosnia and Herzegovina international as chief scout Graham Carr has sent a glowing report on the 24-year-old's progress.
The 24-year-old defensive midfielder, who has spent the majority of his professional career playing in Austria, currently stars for Sturm Graz. His current club have reportedly quoted Newcastle a 3.5 million Euro price for Hadzic.
The 6 foot 1 midfielder has also been watched by several other sides, with Spanish side Valencia and German clubs Borussia Monchengladbach and Wolfsburg sending scouts to monitor Hadzic's progress.
