Arjen Robben rules out Manchester United move

13 July 2014 - 01:46

Bayern Munich forward Arjen Robben has told reporters there is no way he will be linking up with Louis Van Gaal at Man Utd. An impressive World Cup tournament for the Dutchman has seen his stock rise and now Robben has been persistently linked with a move elsewhere.

  • Confirmed Man Utd line-up vs Liverpool, Matheus Cunha starts
  • Chelsea quoted price to sign Igor Thiago

  • After the 3-0 drubbing of Brazil in the World Cup 3rd/4th place play-off, Robben was asked by Dutch reporters if he planned to make a move to United. Disappointingly for Man Utd supporters, Robben announced that he plans to stay in Germany.

\"I have a special bond with him (Louis van Gaal). He is the most important coach in my career,\" Robben said.

\"Moving to United is not an option though. I will stay at Bayern Munich.\"
